Creative Direction for Nicobar's collection drop inspired by the river Ganga and the city of Varanasi. The campaign sought to capture the essence of Varanasi not through literal representation, but through atmosphere and visual metaphor. The visual language was developed through the use of large-scale backdrops inspired by archival paintings by artists such as Thomas Daniell, William Hodges, Edwin Lord Weeks, and Charles Rasmus Forrest, transforming historical landscapes into immersive, almost theatrical environments. Complementing these were textured, time-worn walls evocative of the city's architecture, alongside subtle visual references to Varanasi through details such as flowers and the river itself. The resulting imagery distilled the spirit of the city into a series of evocative compositions, capturing Varanasi as a feeling rather than a geography.
