Hello, I’m Namrata. I lead Visual Communication at Nicobar, a lifestyle brand rooted in India.
Growing up in the Himalayan foothills shaped how I see the world. Post school, I swapped the mountains for the city and studied Visual Communication at Monash University in Melbourne. That kicked off a 15+ year journey in art direction, brand building, and design — one that's taken me through campaigns, big ideas, and some beautiful messes along the way.
Before Nicobar, I was Creative Director at Wieden+Kennedy, India, working on campaigns for Oppo, HP Omen, Visa, Hello Tempayy, and AMPM. I’ve also collaborated with brands like The Postcard Hotel, The Oberoi, and Mad King Beer — to name a few.
My design philosophy? Play, make mistakes, stay curious. Off-duty, you’ll usually find me escaping to the mountains, redecorating a corner of my home (again), or hanging out with my cat (who thinks he’s the real creative director around here).
